Privacy Policy
In short: MeasuredSite is local-first. The app does not require an account and does not send your projects, scans, photos, or usage analytics to a MeasuredSite service.
Who we are
MeasuredSite provides the MeasuredSite application and website (“MeasuredSite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions about this policy may be sent to privacy@measuredsiteapp.com.
Information handled by the app
When you choose to use its features, MeasuredSite may handle project and site names, room geometry, measurements, notes, inventory records, issues, annotations, RoomPlan capture data, and photos you take or select. This content is stored in the app’s local workspace on your device.
Camera, LiDAR, and photo access
MeasuredSite requests camera access only when you start a room scan or take a photo. On supported devices, Apple RoomPlan may use the camera and LiDAR sensor to estimate room geometry. You may also choose photos through Apple’s system photo picker. Manual layout features remain available without LiDAR.
No account, analytics, or advertising
MeasuredSite does not operate an account service, advertising network, third-party analytics framework, or behavioral tracking service. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Exports and sharing
You control when the app creates an export and where it is saved or shared. Exported PDFs, spreadsheets, CSV files, archives, and photos are handled by the destination you select and are then subject to that destination’s privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
App content remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or erase the device, subject to your device backups and any copies you exported. You can delete individual records within the app. Deleting the app generally removes its local container from the device; Apple-managed backups may retain a copy according to your backup settings.
Website data
This website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as IP address, security events, and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies or website analytics on this site.
Children
MeasuredSite is a professional productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a MeasuredSite service.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
